With the recent run on bitcoins, some skeptics are now claiming that you can’t really buy anything with them.
But that couldn’t be further from the truth.
Although most folks I know are looking to trade the digital currency right now, there are also plenty of other innovative types actively buying and selling all kinds of things with bitcoins. There’s even a few bitcoin auction sites, where, for the right bitcoin price, you can buy or sell everything from a classic 1962 Ford Thunderbird to a rental property in Oregon.

There’s also a site called coinabul.com, which claims to offer opportunities to buy gold with bitcoins. And this brings up a good point – which is more valuable? Bitcoins or gold?
